Double Covered Spandex Yarn (DCSY) is a premium elastic textile engineered by wrapping a spandex (polyurethane) core filament with two layers of multifilament yarns-typically nylon, polyester, or viscose-in opposing helical directions. Unlike rubber thread yarn or nylon double yarn that rely on a natural or synthetic rubber core, DCSY utilizes spandex as its elastic foundation.
